Psalm 139:16 NASB
“Your eyes have seen my formless substance;
And in Your book were written
all the days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there were not one of them.”
Ephesians 2:10 NASB
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
As I ponder these two scriptures in my mind and reflect over my life I am reminded of your faithfulness that has brought me from the pit into Your presence to glorify You for all that you have done, are doing , will do in the future.
The Months of May and June can be hard months for those that did not have good relationships with either their moms and or dads or even desired children of their own and could not have them for whatever the reason maybe; I desire to pray for you during both the Month May and for the Month of June also.
Pray for all the women and men in your lives dear readers:
- A deeper relationship with the LORD first and foremost and then the following:
- God would heal the brokenness in many of the women who have suffered loss of their children in any form and fashion.
- God would heal the brokenness with the family unit as a whole for all involved: The men, the women and the kids. Restore the concept of the family unit within your Church world wide.
- For those that are seasoned in the LORD, May they continue to mentor, train and encourage all the young women and men to be WOMEN and MEN after Your own heart.
Let us remember and be grateful for the rough times as the good. Train us oh LORD, to dig deep into your word when there is a break in the rough seasons and times in lives. It is has been in the roughest of seasons of my life where I have been driven to both my knees and into your word, and those are also the times like the Prophet Elijah in 1st Kings 17 where he was commanded to leave where he was and go eastward: To hide himself there. ” I am not saying to totally leave your Church family but what I am saying is sometimes God is calling to leave the things that take the place of GOD in our lives so that we can depend upon HIM alone. Even if you are the only speaking in a crowd of fellow believers when your questioned and badgered by the enemy of our souls in the disguise perhaps of a long time friend or loved one. Just like Elijah called on the LORD to bring a fire upon His sacrifice after 400 prophets of another God failed to call down fire from their God. Each one of us in those moments are in the valley of decision where we must choose to Submit and bow our knees to the LORD and the resist the devil and the LORD will get the glory from it when we have chosen the way of surrender in the roughest of seasons. So, lets also remember and give HIM glory in the seasons of peace and goodness as well.
Seek the LORD! Pursue HIM for Who HE is and not the things HE can do.
