May God’s salvation be remembered.
May His Spirit fan the flame within us.
May the remembrance of the baby born in Bethlehem,
Be forever etched in our minds.
For Christmas is a memorial stone, an Ebenezer,
A time when God’s salvation is celebrated.
May the blessings of God’s mercy upon humanity;
His grace which was displayed on the cross of Golgotha,
Be remembered as He bore the sin of us all.
May the Ebenezer of Easter,
Be forever etched in our minds;
As we celebrate our remembrance of the victory over eternal death and the grave.
Finally, may our communion meal together,
Be an, Ebenezer, a time to give thanks for God’s salvation;
A grateful witness that binds our hearts together with the Savior,
Who is forever with us.
