This past weekend I went to a conference called, “The Wellspring Women’s Retreat” God met me there which is always the case whenever I go to the retreat. My world got rocked over the past few months. In July I became sick and had to go to the ER with what the Doctor thought I my appendix needed to come out. I had a CT Scan and they found that my appendix was normal but my right Kidney had extensive scarring. I was then sent to a Urologist who ran two tests and discovered that the right kidney had urine flowing back into it, and that it was operating between 20-25%. Needless to say I was disturbed and by this time I had intense pain in my right side and I remained in bed for about three weeks taking pain pills, anti-nausea medicine and an antibiotic. I got told that I would need surgery and I became even more fearful. I knew that my God was in control but I did have some unbelief and my prayer became, ” Lord, I believe in You, but help me in the places where I have unbelief. I did not want to wait to have the surgery. At this point the Lord directed to seek guidance from my adopted daddy and pastor so I sent him an e-mail. The response was Lean on God. He is in control. Ask the Lord what I needed to learn from this experience so that I can move on. Fast Forward to two weeks ago I decided despite the fact that I was in pain that I would call the doctor and tell them that I could not have the procedure until this coming week. Now the surgery is scheduled for this Thursday and I have no fear of the surgery. Back to the retreat. I registered for the retreat and on Friday night the Lord gave me a picture of His Wings covering me in the surgery and that He, God, was guiding the Surgeons during the surgery. This relieved me greatly.The workshops on Saturday also encouraged me and by Saturday night The Lord gave me a Prophecy for the rest of the women. I got prayed for that night for healing and I began to feel a burning sensation which was very different from the pain that I was experiencing by the time I went to bed that night I was pain-free. I am still pain-free today and I have no fear. PRAISE GOD!!!
