What comes to your mind when you think about ” being broken ” ? Do you think about everything that you do have instead of the things you do have? I will tell you what I think “being broken” means to me. I like using the term “being broken” as the same as surrender.  To be broken means that I allow God complete and utter control of my life. A person that is broken realizes that he or she is Not in control of their circumstances and allows the Holy Spirit to be an active part of his or her life. I desire to have the Holy Spirit move in my life and through my to affect others. Right now that direction is in prayer and teaching kids. I happy to allow the Lord to use me the way He sees fit even if I do not see the whole picture. I think that brokeness is what the Lord desires from us because then we can be rescued, restored and used by Him to bring others to Him. When someone asks you what makes you different or wonders about how well you are doing in the midst of tragedies in your life, then recognize the opportunity that the Lord has put in front of you! GO TELL THEM THE GOOD NEWS and YOUR TESTIMONY OF WHAT GOD IS DOING IN YOUR LIFE.

  1. Even the Lord Jesus had to experience the agonizing surrender of this kind of brokenness as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane and sought the will of the Father. May we seek Him in our lives, our families, our churches, and everything we write. To encourage other members of our Facebook group to give themselves and their work to God, I’ll highlight your post on the Christian Poets & Writers blog – http://www.christianpoetsandwriters.com. Have a blessed Resurrection Weekend!

    1. Thanks for your message. 2 Corinthians 12:10
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
