“The name of the Lord is a strong tower,
the rightesous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10 NIV
The words of the Lord are true
He is the Strong Tower
He has redeemed my life from destruction
I have run to Him and I am safe
Every morning for the past two years .
I have woken up with a prayer on my mind
Here it is, ” Lord help me get through this day.
Help me to keep busy and my mind stayed on You.”
I still say that prayer everyday especially when I want to stay in bed.
I end up getting up and eating breakfast
And then begin the chores for the day.
I was reminded of this prayer today
when all I wanted to do was stay in bed.
I did not stay in bed though and I am glad I didn’t.
Praise the Lord for answers to prayer.
