Here we are with our hands lifted high,
Come, oh come, Holy Spirit,
Make Your presence known to those who need to be refreshed.
Come, oh come, Holy Spirit,
Inhabit our praises as we declare the great and miraculous things ,
Which you have done within us and through us as we are gathered here today.
Let it be, Oh let it be, like it was on the day of Pentecost when your people were gathered in the upper room in Acts chapter 2.
“Will We throw the clock and our plans out the window so that we can seek You with all our hearts and minds this day?”
“Will we press in and be still in the midst of fiery trails that You have ordained for us to walk through for it is only when do that God in His righteous brings out His character in our lives as we submit to His sovereignty in each of our lives.”
“May we never forget the lessons learned in those fiery trials as we allow our hearts to become willing and teachable and to remain that way when we enter seasons of rest. May we in the seasons of rest realize that we are still in need of the LORD and not to loose sight of HIM as we are in rest and may we give the LORD the praise and honor due HIS name for not only what He brought us through but look for HIM to continue to bring His divine correction in us and to recognize that it is coming from the HIM and in some cases through another believer.”
