Psalm 138:1-3 NASB
“I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing of Your praises before the gods.
I will bow down towards Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your Name
For Your mercy and Your truth;
For You have made Your word
great according to Your name.
On that day I called, You answered me;
You made me bold with strength
in my soul.”
Dear Father in Heaven,
I give you thanks this day for all that You are doing in the midst of this world, I ask that you bring forth a boldness with strength and hope into the hearts of all those who are struggling with a deep, deep sense of loss, grief and anxiety within the beloved people of God. LORD , as the world sees that are our hope is rekindled with a renewed boldness and strength. May You be glorified as we take each day in October to pray for the following:
- The 2024 election
- Pray for those who struggle during the month of October especially those who You have redeemed from the pit of despair and hear and see the enemy of our souls at work in the earth and in the lives of the people they love. I once was one of them but now I am not. I am no longer in despair but LORD, there are many that are around me or in the world today that are in great distress.How will the nations know of Your great hope and joy unless we share about You to this dying world? You are the reason that I can get up every morning and go to work with peace and joy in my heart. May others see that the Peace, hope, patience and joy that I have come from You.
READ all of Psalm 139 aloud and then list the verses that encourage you the most at this moment and then write why the verses you listed encouraged and perhaps is there someone you could encourage with the encouragement which you have also received.
Be blessed in knowing that Christ is with us all and He will return!
