Psalm 103:8,13 NLT
The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
Dear Father,
Thank you for your compassion and mercy. Help us each to extend that same compassion and mercy to everyone we come into contact with on a daily basis. You are the ONE we are to cling to in times of great distress and in times of rest. Lord, teach and encourage each of us to continue to run into your presence even in the good times. Yes, the wilderness journey in the valleys of our lives have driven us to our knees, and I ask you help us to remember those times as an Ebenezer of how you brought us through it, but NOT to dwell on those times in the past but rather take each morning as an opportunity to grow in our dependence upon YOU. Let us each remember that as we hear the birds in the morning in the midst of our hustle and bustle that we take the time to declare your goodness each morning and your faithfulness in the evening! Amen!
Prayer Points
- For us to have a greater awareness that You are with us.
- Put people into our hearts and minds to pray for you to move in.
- For us to be willing to go out of our way to bless someone.
- For You to revive the hearts of those who have allowed the enemy a foot hold into their lives and begin to open their eyes to see where the enemy has crept in.
- For the LORD to continue to build endurance in His people and give more opportunities to each believer to share what You are doing in their lives at this moment.
- Give Thanks for what God is doing currently in your life.
