Read John 4:43-54 out loud or listen to someone else read it, then read it again silently and then note the things that speak to your heart the most before answering any of my questions.
What town was Jesus just in before he traveled onto Galilee? Why is this important?
What was the reaction of the Galileans to Jesus arrival versus his last stop?
What parts of Galilee did he return to and what did he do there?
Consider what Jesus says in John 4:48 “Unless, you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” Would Jesus say this to the generations who are in the Church at large versus the church locally? Why? Would He say this to you today?
Read John 5:1-17 and note the things that speak to your the most through this passage?
Now summarize in your own words what takes places in this passage?
