1st Thessalonians 5:16-24 ESV
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, he will surely do it.
There are a few things that the Lord has given me to share with you all to pray for during the Month of September 2023. The Lord gave me 1st Thessalonians 5:16-24 ESV as I was at work today and its been on my mind the whole day. Let’s begin the 2nd day of this month with rejoicing over all the things that we have prayed about this year thus far and yes even in the difficult times give thanks and pray about anything and everything.
Remember to pray for the United States of America as we remember a tragedy in our nations history this Monday September 11, 2023 of what took place on September 11, 2001. I still remember where I was when it took place and looking back I remember gathering my co-workers at the time to pray for the nation and I also prayed for a couple of other people. If you don’t remember Google it and look it up. After that happened churches across the nation were open 24 hours a day to pray and minister to those who were in need. This nation needs the LORD and those that are called by the LORD to pray, do so. The LORD is calling all of those who feel a burden to pray whenever and where ever you are.
Read Jeremiah 29:11-13 NKJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search with all your heart. I will be found by you and I will be bring you back from captivity.
Then read 2nd Chronicles 7:12-22 and then seek the LORD, Pray to HIM. Watch and Wait for HIS instructions on what you He wants each of us to do as His hands and feet to our nation and world.
