There are a few things that have come to mind to pray for during the month of August.
- Pray for all the children as they return to school whether they are in public, private, home schooled or in charter schools. Pray for their protection and salvation for those that don’t know the Lord.
- Pray for all the teachers and staff.
- Pray for all those who write in various forms: Blogs, books, teaching, poetry and praise. Pray that the writers, authors, poets, and bloggers will be ever before the LORD in regards to the responsibility to share their individual gifts both through writing but also through the other gifts given by the Lord through His Spirit. Pray that the LORD will birth into each of them an awareness of the presence of God and unify the hearts of all not only in those who write but also their readers as well.
- Pray that the LORD will change hearts and set captives through out the world as each believer in the LORD does his or her part to fulfill the great commission given in Matthew 28 but also that the LORD will do even greater things in the generations that follow us.
