Psalm 9:9-10 Amplified
The Lord also will be a refuge and a high tower for the oppressed , a refuge in times of trouble (high cost, destitution, and desperation). And they who know your Name ( who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy) will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for )You (on the authority of God’s word and their necessity.)
1.Pray for The LORD to use all of His people, who are called by His name ,to reach out to the oppressed , the destitute and those who are in despair. Especially those who can give glory to the LORD for they had once gone through the same things. Let them be a bright Light House filled with your redeeming love as manifested by the Holy Spirit to be Your beacon of LIGHT to many.
Psalm 42:1-2 English Standard Version
As the deer pants for the flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God.
2. Pray for the nations to be thirsty for the LORD.
3. Pray for all those once tasted of God’s Spirit to desire and thirst for HIM even more.
4. Pray for me, Prayer Quick, as I enter a fast from electronics in order to focus more on my own relationship with the LORD. I need to choose to be in HIS presence and to give HIM my full and undivided attention. Yes, there are obligations I have to maintain but He needs to be my Number 1 priority and He is the one calling me to do this. As I write this , I have my dishwasher running, so obligations like that I need to do as the LORD leads me.
5.Yes, relationship with other people is good mind you but if there is anything or anyone standing in the way of your relationship with the LORD and even if it is doing things for GOD, then take a step back and evaluate with the following Questions:
Who is getting the glory from your obligations?
Do you feel stressed out or burned out like an almost empty gas tank? If the answer is yes then list why?
Why are you doing your obligations?
Are you thirsty for GOD?
If so Come….Just As John 7:37-39 English Standard Version instructs:
On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, ” If anyone thirsts let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ” out of his heart will flow rivers of living water” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
