Come , oh, come and sing praises to the Lord.
In the midst of tragedy, there is hope when one praises the Lord from a place of brokenness. Praise opens the doorway to healing as it sounds off the battle cry in the heat of battle. Praise the LORD for who He is all you nations of the Lord. Sing a song of victory for He has done great things and He will do it again! Do what? Do what again, says those who don’t believe to those that do. Why is there so much violence and blood shed in the earth today? In our cities and in the nations around the globe? The Lord will revive His people as they are awakened in their hearts by the Holy Spirit.
Come, Holy Spirit, of the living God
Fall upon us right where we are
Come, Holy Spirit, of the living God
Rekindle the fire within our hearts
Come, Holy Spirit, of the living God
Breathe upon us and fan our flames
Let not fire or our zeal for You
Wither away like the grass
That is here one day and gone the next
But let our hearts seek you
From a perspective of true brokenness
In knowing who we truly are
In the presence of the only holy and righteous God there is
May we be like the prophet Isaiah, when he wrote,
“Woe is me, a man of unclean lips, in the midst of a people of unclean lips” see Isaiah Ch. 6
As he became aware of his heart’s condition and that of his nation
When You opened his eyes to see You, oh Lord, seated on the throne of Heaven
May we be like Isaiah and go and speak of You to all who will hear
May we ,your beloved Bride, proclaim Who you truly are in our lives
Not just with our words but with our lives also.
In the Name that is above all NAMES
We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
So, let it be.
