1st Peter 3:8-12 ESV
Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary , bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. For, ” Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
In what ways have you demonstrated in your own life unity of mind, compassion for one another, and have a tender and loving mind and give examples.
In what ways have you personally been challenged to be a blessing and do others see the LORD when you interact with them. Give examples.
In what ways has the church or body of believers that you interact with have been a blessing in your life and do you see the LORD being glorified in everything ?
How has the church been challenged to demonstrate unity of mind, compassion and love for one another? Give examples from your own point of view?
In closing today’s portion in 1st Peter 3:8-12, spend some time in prayer asking the LORD to speak to you in the areas that you need to be a blessing in the circumstances you are currently facing.
