Come with Joy

Come with joy,

before the Lord of Hosts!

leaving your burdens at His feet

Come with joy,

as if it were costly jewels for which none can buy

for their price is too high.

Come with joy,

to take the bread and the wine!

remembering the lamb who carried all your burdens….

remembering the lamb whose blood covered your sin,

like that of the Passover lamb whose blood covered the door posts of the homes

which housed Moses, Aaron and the rest of the Israelites

who were enslaved in Egypt

You oh Lord of Hosts passed over the homes covered in the blood of the lamb

While all the other homes in Egypt the first born offspring of every family died.

The blood of the Passover lamb covered their reproach in Egypt

Those who take the bread and wine

Remember that as Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son Issac

Who was the heir of promise , You, Oh Lord of Hosts

provided a young ram in the place of Issac

Those who take the wine and the bread

Remember, “For God so love the world, that he gave his one and only Son,

that whomever would be believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)

His one and only Son was Jesus Christ who took your burdens and your sin upon

himself on a cross and as his blood and water poured down the cross;

like that of the Passover lamb has covered your reproach of sin.

So, that you can come before His throne of grace with joy!

Come before His throne with joy this day,

REMEMBERING TODAY IS A NEW DAY!
