I have been asking the Lord recently if there was anything specifically that He would desire for us as the “church” in America to seek HIM about. This afternoon the Lord has been speaking to my heart some of these things and here is what the Lord gave me.

  1. Pray for the “church” in America to become a people who are passionate and jealous to know the LORD for Who HE is and not for the stuff He can do. In other words, don’t chase after the miraculous signs and wonder but rather get to know the LORD and pursue HIM.
  2. Pray for the “church” in America to truly repent of the sins within the church and on behalf of the nation.
  3. Pray for the “church” in America to reach out and build relationships within the communities as a whole. Examples: schools, in government, our neighbors surrounding us. Matthew 28:16-20.
  4. Pray for the “church” in America to stand firm and hold fast to the LORD in the year of 2022. See Ephesians 6:10-20.
  5. Pray for the “church” in America to dig their roots deep in the Word of the LORD and to remind them that You are the LORD and we are your beloved people. See John 17. Romans 12:1-3.
  6. Pray for the “church” in America as well as all our brothers and sisters in the LORD around the world to be encouraged to be bold and to proclaim all that you are doing in their midst.
  7. Pray for each member of the “church” to recognize we are all Ambassadors and Ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We each have a part in the Kingdom of GOD and each one is important in fulfilling the LORD’s command in Matthew 28:16-20.
