Read Jeremiah 26:1-15 out loud on the first reading through the passage and then on the second time through and list all the words or phrases that seem to grab your attention as you read them.
Where is the court of the LORD’s house and what was Jeremiah commanded by Yahweh to do there?
Why was it important that Jeremiah to not withhold a word from Yahweh to the people of Judah? Likewise why would it be important for as believers in Yahweh’s Son Jesus to not withhold a word from HIM to the peoples around us. It could be a word of encouragement , wisdom or something else that the LORD has laid on your heart for another person.
What was the people of Judah’s reaction to the message that Jeremiah delivered to them?
Read Jeremiah 26:16-24 ESV and write a summary of this passage and any thoughts that you may have?
Was there confirmation of Jeremiah’s word against Judah and the land? Who was it and to which of Judah’s kings did he speak too?
