Read Jeremiah 21 out loud and then on the second reading of the passage and then write a brief summary of what the main message in this chapter is.
If you have the gift of prophecy, imagine if the LORD gave you this word or one similar to it would you be hesitate or afraid to give it? Would you proclaim His Word no matter what that word was?
Jeremiah has been known in Christian circles as the weeping prophet but I wonder if Jeremiah also had the gift of mercy? What about you and why?
What are the attributes or characteristics that make Lord, GOD, have you seen in this passage?
Where was Israel and Judah putting their confidence in? WHY?
Reflection:
In Whom or is your confidence in these days as you watch evil and wickedness escalate in the earth today?
Do you find yourself weeping over the nation and the world today, if so, I suggest you turn your weeping into prayers of repentance in regards to your own sin and commit to pray for the LORD to move in each of His Beloved BRIDE’S hearts and proclaim the Goodness of the LORD for all that HE is doing in the midst of the nations in the earth today?
I encourage you to personally to pray about sharing your own testimony of how the LORD brought you back to HIMSELF and it could also be something that you are in the midst of right now that the LORD wants you to be a vessel willing to be used to bring His freedom to others!
