Jeremiah, 16:14-21

Read Jeremiah 16:14-21 ESV out loud the first time reading through the passage, then read a second time through.

Write a brief summary of what this passage is about.

How many times through out the history of Israel did the LORD bring HIS people back to the land for which He gave them?

Who were the fishers and the hunters that the LORD sent to the people of Israel and use scripture to back up your answer?

Think and reflect on the following verse from this passage.

Jeremiah 16:17 ESV “For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is there iniquity concealed from my eyes.”

Since the LORD’s eyes were on Israel and their ways don’t you also believe that HE watches over everything that is done in every nation around the earth. If not, then use scripture to explain why He doesn’t and if you do believe give examples from your own life as well as from scripture to explain why you do.

Go back and review your answers from Jeremiah 16:1-13 and reflect back over your answers for the whole chapter. Then seek the LORD as to how this chapter can apply to us today!
