Are you the people of the Lord desperate for Him? Do you long to be used by HIM? Are you desperate for the LORD to change others, if so, let go of your desire to see others changed and ask HIM to change your own heart?
The LORD is longing for HIS people to come to HIM and just say, “I am empty. I am broken. I need you to change my heart.”
Don’t look to HIM to change your circumstances but rather ask HIM to change your heart through your circumstances. He has put and will continue to place His people in uncomfortable and almost unbearable circumstances for HIS Glory to be revealed in your lives. When you see the Hand of the LORD in these circumstances give HIM praise for what HE is doing in them.
May the plea of your hearts be,
Lord empty my heart of anything and everything that does not bring YOU glory?
Put a guard on hearts so that we will not foolishly think that we are the ones in control instead show us what is in our hearts. Where there is religious arrogance especially with those who have been walking with YOU a long time and even in those who may not have walked with you as long, break our hearts and burst our arrogant bubbles so that we will remain teachable and reachable by YOU LORD!
Place a guard in our thoughts and in our mouths so that we will not make vows and commitments without consulting YOU LORD!
May our hearts, minds, and speech be a reflection of YOU!
May YOUR Spirit come and be poured out into a people prepared for you LORD!
