Consider the following:
- What are the idols that the church in America as well as those of other nations follow today? List them.
2. Are you being influenced by any of the idols that you listed in your answer to the previous question? If yes, how and in what ways has it affected your relationship with the LORD?
3. Spend some time in prayer ask the LORD to:
Forgive you for the ways that the idols which you listed above affected your relationship with HIM?
Then ask the LORD, to sever all the ties that these idols have in your life, then commit to following the LORD with a whole heart-ed obedience in every situation that you face.
