I went to my church this morning early before my Friday morning Bible Study that I attend and did a prayer walk through my church in the spirit and as I stood still and became silent. I waited for the LORD to speak to me and HE did. I wrote in my journal and did not share it with the group then but I feel impressed by HIM to share it here along with some scriptures and questions to reflect on.
This is what the LORD shared with me this morning.
“Behold, I go before you all as you meet and leave this place. My dwelling place is not within this building but it is within you. I inhabit the praises of My people. Come and praise Me with a whole heart. Do not leave this day without coming before ME in praise and prayer. Says the LORD!”
Read Psalm 18 out loud and then give thanks to HIM everyday in the month of June by writing down at least two things to give HIM praise about and at least one situation to pray for daily regarding the nation in which you live. Then on Sunday JULY 4, which is the day the United States celebrates Independence Day do the following:
Gather together as families, friends and as the church of the LORD. In these groups read your praises to one another and pray for the nation together as one group as you share the situations that you have been praying about in June.
Declare and make known what the LORD has done in your own heart and life as well!
