Jeremiah, 4:1-4

Jeremiah 4:1-2ESV Fill in the blank while you read the passage.

“If you return, O Israel, declares the LORD, to _____ you should return. If you ___________ your detestable things from my presence and ________________ waver, and if you __________ ‘As the LORD lives,’ in ________________, in ____________, and in _____________________ then nations shall bless themselves in ______, and in _________ shall they glory.

Stop and seek the LORD for answers to the following:

What are the detestable things in your own life that the LORD wants you to remove from HIS presence? List them and then take them out and remove them from your hearts, minds, and homes if it is necessary.

Is there anything in the nation in which you reside that the LORD has brought to the light as a detestable thing especially those things that have infiltrated the church as another god other than the LORD? If so, list them and then go before the throne of Heaven asking HIM for HIS mercy, grace and forgiveness to be poured out upon all the nation.
