In what kind of relationship does the LORD refer to the people of Israel and subsequently us as believers in the LORD today?
How did Israel commit idolatry and what is idolatry likened to in this passage?
How did the nation of Israel “forgot” and stopped inquiring of the LORD and what was the consequences of this as a result of their disobedience?
In what ways have the church as a whole in the nation in which you live “forgotten and forsaken” the LORD and ran after other gods and what is the result of this disobedience in a national sense and how does it affect you personally?
List these other gods and then write a prayer of repentance on behalf of the church as whole in your nation and then a personal prayer of repentance for your own life.
How was Israel put to shame and judged as a nation?
