As the month of January is about half way over, I have begun to seek the LORD for any focus scriptures for the month of February. The LORD has given me three distinct passages to focus on for February and I will share them with you also. I also encourage you to seek the LORD to see if He gives you any scriptures to focus on in your own life as well.
Psalm 18:2-3 NIV
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Joshua 1:5-9 Amplified The Lord speaking to Joshua
No man will [be able to] stand before you [to oppose you] as long as you live. Just as I was [present] with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and confident and courageous for you will give this people as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers (ancestors) to give them. only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do [ everything] in accordance with the entire law which My servant Moses commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you may prosper and be successful wherever you go. This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth; but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will be successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated) for the LORD your God is with you wherever yo go.”
Romans 1:16-17 NIV
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes first to the Jew then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed-a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Reflection Question
What is the LORD telling me to do in the month of February, in regards to the calling on my life? How am I walking or living out what He has commanded me to do?
DWELL ON THE LORD
FIX MY GAZE ON CHRIST!
THEN LIVE OUT WHAT I SEE HIM DOING OR ASKING ME TO DO!
Romans 1:16 NIV
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes; first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed-a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
