King of Glory

King of glory, King of might;

Creator of the Heavens.

Creator of the Earth.

Hear us as we call out,

“Fills us with your Spirit.

Fills us once again.

For your Spirit is life,

As the battle rages within us;

To die to self and take up our cross

Following You in all things,

Since You have the power to bring the dead to life.

I ask that You will awaken those who need your spirit;

Cause them to chase You with a heart that is consumed with Your holiness.

So, that we might all desire the gifts and callings for which you have called

each of us to do at this present time.

Give us your courage and boldness to proclaim you as the Lord our lives

Not by the words we say but the way we live our lives.

In your Son’s mighty name that is above every name in Heaven and on Earth, JESUS, I ask, Amen!”
