Oh, how He longs to sweep up His children to cradle them in His arms.
Quietly and patiently the Lord desires to see each of His children,
To come before His throne of grace with joy!
Cry aloud oh, beloved children of the Most High God, cry to HIM!
He alone is our comforter!
He alone is our shield and our defender!
He alone is GOD!
He alone is the rightful King!
Why be angry with the world who does not delight in HIM,
When you once walked as they did?
Beloved children of the Lord,
Rise up and extend His mercy to the world,
who so desperately needs to hear good news.
Tell them of the peace which you have in your hearts.
Tell them of One who can give them everlasting love.
Tell them of how you once danced with the darkness as they do but now you have been set free.
Quietly and patiently The Lord of Heavens Armies,
Is gathering all His beloved children to come and petition HIM on behalf of all the nations.
Quietly and patiently the Lord is drawing His beloved ever closer to His heart!
Sing, oh citizens of Heaven,
Sing out a melody before the King, the Lord of all creation,
Who endured the pain and anguish of the cross.
In order to bring us from darkness into His marvelous light!
Sing, oh you, His beloved children far and wide,
Of His love that is everlasting and never changing!
