Read Isaiah 5:1-7 Amplified
How many references do you find to the LORD and His Beloved Vineyard in scripture and list them below?
Who is represented by the vineyard in each of these passages you have listed above?
Now ,write a brief summary of what has transpired in Isaiah 5:1-7.
Here is my summary.
God chose His beloved people and placed them in a fruitful land but it only yielded wild fruit. Why did it yield wild fruit when God supplied their every need? Even more what could be done that HE did not already for them?
Reflections:
Read Ephesians 1:1-14 and list all the things that the LORD has blessed His people with.
We are a part of HIS beloved vineyard and as such is there anything that the Lord has not done for you that needs to be done?
Is your life producing good grapes or wild grapes? List the consequences of both?
What is the LORD trying to produce in your life by living a life of complete submission to HIM.
What would complete submission to the LORD look like in your life right now?
Close with asking the LORD to show you how He wants to use the wild grapes in your life for HIS good and HIS glory.
