There is a time and place,
Where two worlds collide;
As calloused hearts melt like ice
Before the foot of the Cross.
His forgiveness is best known,
When He spoke these words:
“IT IS FINISHED!”
“How can that be? We proclaim.
“We remember what we’ve done.”
Again, the Lord speaks to us.
“IT IS FINISHED!
My body has been broken and My blood has been poured out for you all.
Completely covers you.
So, why do you condemn yourselves and others,
When I have already forgiven you all.
Listen to Me dearly beloved children,
Let it go and bring it up no more.
IT IS FINISHED!
The battle has been won!
Now, REJOICE!
