Vision five of the eight visions that Zechariah had takes place in chapter four of Zechariah and let’s use the English Standard Version to begin with, then I may switch to another version.
The scene unfolds as Zechariah was woken up by an angel, who like a man asked him what he saw. List and describe in your own words what Zechariah saw in this vision.

What was described as being made of all gold, having seven lamps, with seven lips or pipes on each lamp and bowl on top of it?
What is the significance represented by the seven lamps and how similar or different is this lamp stand from that of the one that the Lord gave instructions to Moses to relay to the people in Exodus 25:31-35?

Who was Zerubabbel and what was his vocation or job?
His name means “Sown in Babylon” according Strong’s concordance? In layman’s terms he was born in Babylon.
Where and when was this temple being built?
Who lays the foundation?
Who finishes the construction of this temple?
Who is the ONE who sent to them? Who is called ME?
Who are the two anointed ones represented by the two olive branches whose oil pours into the two golden pipes of the lamp stand?

My Thoughts on the two anointed ones is as follows:
I think they represent the two chosen peoples of the earth with whom the prayers of the saints both the Jewish Nation and the true Christian Nation.
WE are united together through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross which in these passages I liken to the lamp stand. The olive trees on either side of the lamp stand!
