Jesus is Enough

My world has come to a stop in a split second of a car crash that happened just a week ago today. I was hit as I made a left hand turn and as a result I was T-boned on the right hand side of the car. The air bags deployed and both passenger windows smashed and some of the glass fell behind me on my back and underneath me as well. I was quite shaken but Jesus is enough for me as I was processing the emotions of it all I began to thank Jesus that I left the accident with only bruises from the seat belt. There was no one else in the car as I had already taken my passenger home, Praise God.

Two days after the accident, I tripped and fell in my home. I did not get it looked at right away. I kept ice and ibuprofen on hand but it was not better so I took the advice of people I know and got it looked at on the third day after I had fallen. I broke my left little finger and have a follow-up appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. Jesus is enough for me.

Isaiah 53:5 Amplified

But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our wickedness{our sin, our injustice and wrong doing} the punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him and by His stripes we are healed.

Jesus is enough for me. He could choose to heal instantaneously and sometimes He does but more often I find that Jesus the Lord and healer desires for me to draw closer to Him in order that I might depend on Him. The Lord gave people a brain and with it curiosity and creativity to develop the medications and medical treatments that we have today along with technology. Yes, THE LORD is the great physician and we should seek Him for healing but being on medicine or get medical treatment does not negate ones faith in Jesus as Healer. Jesus used the example of a mustard seed which is the smallest of all seeds but I want to suggest to you that even the smallest atomic particles is enough faith Him to move mountains.

If you glean nothing else than the following from reading this posting:

Know that Jesus is enough for you. He is the Lord Almighty and at His name the demons flee. Rejoice in the Lord for He sees you as someone who has great value and just because He Loves you and no one could ever replace you in this earth. He has given each of you a calling or ministry. Seek Him and learn what He wants you to do with gifts He has given you. In all things give thanks.
