I have been reminded time and time again this week that I have been chosen by the Lord and not forsaken. As a believer in the good news of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, which has brought me into a fervent and vibrate relationship with the Lord of Heavens and the earth. I was reminded how fleeting life is and how much tragedy that Adam and Eve’s rebellion in the garden of Eden cost humanity as a whole. What grace the Lord of Heaven had upon the human race when before the world was spoken into being; He crafted us to be His own.
It is in knowing that the Lord is a gentleman and created us with a mind, will and emotions. He knew that the human race would be deceived by another created being, Lucifer, who was once an angel. Now referred to as the serpent in the garden who with clever words preyed upon Eve’s appetite until she picked, ate and gave the fruit to Adam to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They were then moved out of the garden, lest they eat of the tree of life also.
Think about what grace the LORD of lords gave us when he made the first animal sacrifice that provided them with a covering of their nakedness before HIM. Adam and Eve saw themselves and each other through their own eyes instead of the HIS eyes.
Think about being separated from your family because of either choices you have made or they had made that left you separated and cut off from their presence. The first shedding of animals blood was a representation that the LORD would one day send HIS beloved Son Jesus into the world to be the atoning sacrifice for the sin of the world once and for all.
Think about this. What would human life be like now if we lived for eternity separated from the Lord and living in a hate filled world without the Lord’s Spirit who is the essence of truth who dwells in the hearts of all those HE has chosen to receive His good news of eternal through the power that raised Jesus from the dead.
It is a choice to choose LIFE over death.
It is a choice to choose LOVE over hate.
It is a choice to choose Obedience to Christ rather than falling prey to the whimsical, and diabolical enemy of our souls, who is the same Lucifer that appeared in the form of a serpent in the garden of Eden.
Today, He takes many forms that are equally sinister and hateful to the ONE true GOD. They are all in an effort to drive us further and further to destruction rather bring us closer and closer to the Lord HIMSELF. For Lucifer, Satan, is a liar and would like nothing more than your total destruction.
Guess what, Lucifer, satan, has already been judged by the LORD of Heavens Armies. He can only do in this world what the LORD has permitted to do. Satan is a created being and is limited in what he and his minions can do while THE LORD of HEAVENS ARMIES IS THE JUDGE OF ALL LIFE. The LORD has said he is Judge and it IS HIS right to avenge not ours.
There is a day coming quickly where JESUS will return as not only the LORD but the JUDGE of this world.
The choice to follow HIM, is yours alone to make. Just because your family or your friends go to church and believe, that you are okay with your relationship with based on what they believe. You all individually need to have a radial encounter with the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Choose you this day whom, you will serve.
