Interruption and Continuation

Philippians 1:6 Amplified

I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day Jesus Christ( right up to the day of His return), developing [that good work] and bringing it to full completion in you.

It is encouraging to me to know that God continues to work in my life. When I look back through past prayer journals and postings I am truly amazed at what God has done in my life up to this very moment.

I have been employed as a  part-time cashier with a grocery company now since September of 2016; I have been stuck in a rut and not happy with some things. I started to apply for jobs else where thinking that would solve my problem of my rut. Well, I applied for five different positions with four different companies and I heard back from 3. I got an interview with one yesterday but it did not work out. I was disappointed until God reminded of some things.

The LORD reminded of why HE placed me at the job I am still in. I am to be His hands and feet at this grocery store. Sometime last year I think I wrote about that He was the one through me working there as a cashier. He was the scanning and bagging the groceries for people. He was the one pushing the carts into the store and that He was giving me the rest that I need and also He is keeping a great opportunity to rely on HIM for my provision and not on myself.

Philippians 4:19 Amplified

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5,6

Lean on , trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Be sufficient in HIS sufficiency.

Lean and rely HIM.

Extol the Lord.

Seek HIS face and not HIS hand..

Seek HIM in all things.

Recognizing that the Lord will interrupt my plans when I try to control of my plans instead of seeking HIM for HIS and obeying HIM.
