We have all heard the question, “What do you want to be when you grow-up?” since we were small children. I want you to consider for a moment this question instead, “What does The Lord want you to be when you grow-up? Perhaps you’ve already passed the childbearing years or are not in contact with children and maybe the question you could pose yourself would be something like this: What does The Lord want me to be in the season of life you are now in?
When I was a child and going to school I got asked about what I wanted to be when I grew up or who do you want to be like when you grow up? My answer was Queen Esther, this is the same Esther that we find in the Bible. There are a lot lessons to be learned about the book of Esther and for being a young girl going through difficult circumstances she was my hero! I do say was my hero as a young girl because my Savior, Jesus Christ has become my hero and will always be my hero. Have you ever had anyone in your life be your hero? Did this hero become larger than life in your own eyes? Unfortunately, this happens to a lot of people when they a make a person become a hero who is larger than life in their eyes and people began to treat them as they can do no wrong and that they are a “god” to them.
What is the Lord stirring in your heart these days?
Is it to get out of your comfort zone?
I tell you what the Lord is stirring in my heart! He continues to stir praise unto HIM as well as a desire to see my world changed. When I say my world to change I mean I want to see those that I come into contact with changed. I want to see the churches where I live locally to unify with the LORD as the ultimate authority over us. I want to see the Christian church in the United States to grow. I want to see and experience God’s presence in every, every single breath I take. I want to see the nations rise up and call the LORD blessed and thank HIM for everything that is good in this world. Are my dreams and aspirations to high for the LORD! I don’t think so!
He is the same God that Led the Israelites through the Red Sea. He is the same God that Created this world and He is the Same God who sent His One and only Son Jesus Christ to live a sinless life and die for the sin of all mankind. I use to think the memories of the past were there to just haunt me but the Lord God has told me that like scars from a surgery that do not disappear are there as a reminder of what THE LORD brought me through. I believe it is the same for each and every person in this world. You are still here and you survived and each memory is a beautiful reminder that we are sinners and that HE is God.

Right now, I sense The LORD saying there are those who are reading this blog who have never even considered God or whether He is real or not. Right now, He is speaking to you in a faint whisper and HE is saying your name over and over again to follow HIM and that it is HE, Jesus, that you have been looking for all your life for approval of others rather it is from a sibling, mother but mostly YOU have wanted to know Why you are alive and living in the earth today. The LORD says, He is there with you and if you accept HIM right now as YOUR LORD and Savior HE will set you free from the life you are currently living and will bring you into contact with those who Follow HIM. Listen to the faint whisper of HIS voice and HE will lead you out of bondage.
