On My knees this day
I felt the presence of My LORD
This was one of those times
Where I felt nailed to the ground
As the Holy Spirit washed over me
My soul was awakened
To a deeper place in HIM
I lingered in His presence
Tasting of HIS goodness and grace
Praise HIM who does not abandon me
Rather HE watches over me
With His eye upon me
As I rest in HIS shadow
I find peace for my weary soul
I find joy in His strength
I find spectacular love for me
In my salvation through HIM
I find all encompassing protection
In HIS embrace
Though my body may be destroyed
I know that I will be with my Lord
Among the Heavenly Host
Praise HIM, who sits on the Throne
Praise HIM for His great peace in my heart this day!
