Surrendering to HIS presence
Requires discernment and attention
To the voice of the LORD, His precious Holy Spirit
It takes obedience on our to do what The Lord commands
Especially in a day and age where HIS TRUTH is regarded as obsolete and a myth
But we know that THE LORD will return someday and judge the world and all those that dwell in it
The Question today is what we will DO with the WISDOM and TRUTH HE has given to us
Will we be a wimpy believer and expect someone else to take a stand for HIS Truth
Or we be the ones that stand against the tide and love those who do not love us
Or THE LORD WE PROFESS WE BELIEVE IN.
I must confess that there are people or groups in my life that are hard for me to love
But I am commanded to do so none the less.
So when those people come to my mind I begin to pray for them
It may go something like this:
Dear Father,
help me to forgive those who have hurt me for one reason or another You have told me to love them. I confess right now that I can’t do that right now but I ask you to change my heart as I pray for them each time that they or the situation comes to my mind. In Jesus Name AMEN!
After days or even years pass
You may find yourself in tears as you pray for that person or group to come to know Jesus Christ
And who knows you may be the one that leads them to Jesus!
So, Surrender to the Lord all that He commands you to.
