In Your Presence

Here I am as Your presence

Beacons me to come before You

What wondrous joy fills my heart

As I bask in the presence of my King

Sometimes I feel as Isaiah did

When the heavens opened up

And He saw You siting on Your throne

In all Your majesty and he said,

“Woe is me for I am ruined!

For I am a man with unclean lips

And I live among a people of unclean lips”

In other words, he realized he was a sinful person

And he lived among a sinful people or nation.

Then you cleansed him from sin and commissioned to speak for YOU.

It fills my heart with joy when I get to be used by You

To reach into the hearts of men

Either by my written words of praise and prayer or the words You give me to speak or write

LORD, move upon all those that hear Your voice and are commissioned to speak for YOU

May the words YOU give them reap a harvest among the nations, Amen!
