Falling, falling on my knees
Crying out once again
To my Almighty God
The Sovereign Lord of all the universe
Hear my heart this day
As the words fall of my lips
And onto a page
Surround me with Your presence this day
Teach me to linger in the stillness of Your presence
It is in the quiet that You long to speak to my soul
The fast pace of life and the inability to sit still
Rob me of the chance to sit at my Master’s feet
It takes a diligent heart to shut out all the noise
And just listen to my Lord
So here these words this day
Don’t waste another second being a “busy body”
But rather take the time and bask in HIS PRESENCE!
