There are times and seasons
In our lives we remember
More than others
We remember the good along with the bad
There are certain things that the LORD calls to remember
His death and resurrection
In the communion meal
The day of our salvation
All throughout the history of the Israel
The Lord had told them to set up memorial stones
For when they see them they will remember What the Lord has done
And give HIM the glory HE is due
It is the same in our everyday lives
He calls us to remember what HE has done for us
It could be as simple as the sun in the sky
Or as complex as a series of “coincidences” that detour from going a different direction
In all these things we are to remember that The LORD is in control
And it is HE not us that plans our lives
We may think we do, by using calendars but all in all
When things do not go our way we get upset
Instead of asking God what is HIS plan for us
A choice to take an exit off the highway earlier than the one we need to
May prevent us from getting in a car accident
Or bumping into someone at the grocery store
Maybe used to bring that person into the kingdom
So, Turn and listen for God’s direction in your life
It may not make sense to you right now
But when you look back and remember what The LORD has done in your life
You will be glad that you listened to HIM.
