God’s goodness to us sometimes slips by without us noticing. A smile and a kind hello from a person you have never met goes a long way in blessing someone these days. I was recently blessed with some food from a dear friend who responded to The Lord’s nudging to do so. I am so grateful to The Lord for this blessing. Another thing that blesses me during this time of year is the leaves that turn from green to yellows, reds and oranges. The leaves will soon fall off the trees and in some areas have already began to do so. I am amazed at how beautiful The Lord created the earth not only to live in but to take care of the earth also. I have three cats and they are each a blessing to me at different time. When I go to sleep at night one of them will curl up next to my head and purrs away. It is also this time of night that this cat likes attention so I pet him until I fall asleep and sometimes he will meow and paw at me to pet him some more. The older cat likes to sit on my lap if I get up in the middle of night and the youngest cat is the most talkative of the three. There are times where there has been a week of nothing but clouds in the sky and sometimes rain but when the first glimpse of sunshine comes through I am reminded how much the LORD loves me. I also enjoy to walk in the morning and listen to the birds chirping away to each other. It is so pleasant to wake up to and take a deep breath and realize that you have been given a wonderful gift from the Lord; His sacrifice on the cross gave me new life. I am grateful for that because I get up every morning and thank HIM for another day to give Him praise. Yes, this life has its challenges but I do not have to face them alone for I know that my God is always there and willing to help me through the challenge. I may not always recognize all HE does in my life but this ONE thing I do know is that HE LOVES ME for me.
