What wondrous joy to behold
The Lord in all His splendor
What wondrous grace He gives
To you and I as we die to self each day
What a sacrifice of praise
I will bring to my Lord the King
Offerings of gold, frankincense, and Myrrh
Were given to You Jesus by the wise men long ago
When you came and took on a human form
A tiny babe, wrapped in swaddling clothes
Yet the world did not recognize You as God
So, they crucified you on the cross
Though You were blameless
You took on the sin of the world
Upon Your shoulders
Making the perfect atoning sacrifice
To this day Your disciples all those who call You Lord
Remember Your death upon the cross
And stop and celebrate Your death
Through the communion meal
Until Your return
We cry Maranatha
Come Lord Jesus Come.
