God gives grace for today
And hope for tomorrow
What lies behind serves as a reminder
Of God’s faithfulness in my life
I can look back and see His hand prints
In every memory, though I had to experience
Great evil, sorrow, pain
He experienced the same upon the cross
Bearing all the sin and shame of the world
It was the evil, sorrow and pain
That made me question where God was
And why He did not stop the evil, sorrow and pain
He said, “It was for My glory. Before you were born, I knew
These things but I chose you to be my vessel to bear my Spirit within you
You are my Daughter and I LOVE YOU
Keep seeking me with all your heart and you will know My presence like never before.”
Now, as I look forward to my time with the LORD of my heart
I do not feel dread but rather a longing to see HIM face – to- face.
I am filled with overwhelming joy and peace
Because I know my ABBA Loves me
