Sing for joy
Rejoice for the Lord is good
And His faithfulness endures always
Never, ever, ever forget
All the things that the Lord has brought you through
Never, ever, ever forget
God protects His children
He is our shield and defense
A stronghold for those in trouble
Everything that has or has not happened
In our lives is for the glory of the Lord
You may say what about the bad things
Which people do to us or themselves
Remember all things are in the Lord’s control
The abuse which I suffered as a child
Has brought me so close in my relationship with my Lord
As He showed me where He was the whole time as I suffered
He was there with tears in His eyes
Weeping for the pain that I went through
Because I know my God is in control
I have an understanding of God that I long for others to experience as well
Even today as I write this I know that God
My Lord is in control and protects His children.
