My soul’s desire
To grow ever closer to Thee
Why does this world have such a pull on me?
Fear and worry
I should not even consider them
And yet they plague me from time to time
It is in those moments
I need to look upward and grab my the Bible
And Remember to trust in my Lord Jesus
For He knows my life from beginning to end
Why do I sit and let my mind wander from the Truth
When I need It so desperately in my heart and mind
In the times where my mind wanders
Lord, help me to bring back my focus on You
