Psalm 18:30-32 AMP
As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him. For who is God except the Lord? Or who is the Rock save our God, The God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect?
My thoughts on the above verses:
God is the shield and refuge for the righteous. Those who have called upon Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those who delight and obey the commands of the Lord.
Definition of gird: 1. encircle or bind like a belt 2. to surround, hem in, enclose 3. to prepare for action 4. to provide, equip, or invest as with strength or power.
God is the One who equips us with both power and strength to carry out His Will and call on our lives. As I travel down the path He has called me to; there are times of testing whether there is a choice to make or a time of sickness. God is always there no matter what happens in my life in the past, present or future God has already ordained it from before the beginning of time.
I am reminded of Job when God asks Satan had he considered Job. Did Job ever renounce His faith in God? He wished that he was never born but God had a plan for His life. Because Job was righteous and remained faithful to God; God restored everything to Him!
God’s way is perfect! He is the Hope for this World! Seek HIM and you will find HIM.
