The cross of forgiveness where Jesus blood flowed down his hands, feet and side. Communion we take weekly reminds us of what Jesus did for us. Communion reminds me to remember all the things that God has done for me including paying the debt I could not pay. It reminds me how blessed I am in this world full of evil. The next thing communion reminds me of that without Him, I would be destined to eternal death. The power of forgiveness can only take place if we are willing to acknowledge that Jesus is the One and only Judge and we are not him. We must also remember because Christ forgave us our many sins, we must do the same. To live in Christ is truly the reason I can wake up everyday and know that He has everything under control.
