For He has made it new for you
A new day to walk in His ways
A new day to glean wisdom from His written Word
A new day full of new possibilities
A new day to thank Him for all He has done
And all He will continue to do
For His loving-kindness is new every morning
His joy satisfies the heart
Until it overflows the banks
Reaching out to the depressed and oppressed this day
