There was a manger
That held a baby boy
Some two thousand years ago
Wisemen and shepherds
Came to worship and present their gifts
To the newborn babe
Whose birth foretold
Centuries before
This manger held
The ultimate blessing for all mankind
This boy grew to die
On the Cross, carrying with Him the sins of all mankind
His death would pay the debt we owed God
And could never repay
He brought us the gift of eternal life
For which we should all be grateful for
Praise Jesus who came into this world
To redeem us from sin.
