It is interesting to me that the world seems to stop when there is no electricity going to our homes, businesses and schools during natural disasters. Hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes can cause lots of damage. People I think for the most part rely too much on man-made energy instead of the Power of God. Do you experience a spiritual power outage in your life? Could it be that you are relying more on your own strength than on God? The Lord sent us the Holy Spirit so that His presence and power can reside in us. Think about this the Lord knows everything about you. He knows how you crafted in your mother’s womb before you were born. He brought you and I into this world for a purpose. This purpose is to not only to glorify Him in everything that we do but it is also to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the sovereign Lord and He not only paid the debt(sin) that we could not pay but also wanted restore us to Himself. He wants us to live and walk in His power by relying on Him.
