I have been thinking a lot this morning about God’s blessings in my life. I was suppose to have surgery last Friday on my bladder but God graciously cancelled it. God arranged my circumstances so that I was able to Joyce Meyer in Raleigh on Thursday night and Friday morning. I got blessed to go with friends. The topics were not on a cheery subject but it was what I need to hear and respond to. I got refered to Duke Urology where I went yesterday morning and they told me that surgery would be overkill for a mild reflux. I wrote in my journal last week that I gave thanks to the Lord because He is the One that orders my steps and guards my life. This doctor will be doing a more thorough study of my bladder. Bless God! Sunday’s message was a reminder to that it is by God’s power that I live and that He is in control. Think about the blessings that the Lord has given you at this very moment. Record them in a journal and when you feel discouraged don’t just read the promises of the Bible but go back to that journal and thank the Lord for the blessings that you have been given by God.
